We are committed to a cleaner future
100% Powered by Renewables
We were one of the first companies in Namibia to be fully powered by renewable energy. We continuously optimize our energy usage so we can grow sustainably into the future. To the best of our knowledge, we are the first Namibian company to have achieved net carbon neutrality.
Recycling
We initiated PET recycling over 15 years ago. As part of our effort to foster a more environmentally conscious mindset in our community we co-founded the "Erongo Drum" recycling plant in Omaruru which processes hundreds of tons of waste each month.
Active Engagement in Wildlife Protection
Since the founding of Omaruru Beverages at Independence in 1990, we have actively engaged in wildlife protection and nature conservation. Together with other local activists we have supported efforts to rebuild habitat for many endangered species, in particular the Black Rhino. Today, the area we are located in is considered one of the most important privately managed rhino conservation areas in the country.
